Can’t stop won’t stop… I’m really into zoodles right now, or zucchini in noodle form. A súper healthy alternative to spaghetti or noodles, because duh, it’s green and it’s a vegetable! Is there anything more healthier to eat?

Well then… Just sayin’…
P is currently working super hard, the last two weeks he’s came home around midnight on weekdays. They’re serving dinner at work, so I just eat at home all by myself. I don’t mind, time to eat things I like which he hates. Blue cheese for example, it’s very tasty to melt that in a skillet and add zucchini noodles. I could eat that every day!

Brown rice bowl with kale and a poached egg | in my Red Kitchen Last week P and I saw the documentary ‘Fed Up‘ at the theatre. I’ve seen my fair share of food documentary as I was working at the largest documentary film festival for five years before moving to Los Angeles.

Documentaries like Food, Inc., Our Daily Bread, Sushi: the Global Catch, The End Of the Line but also of course ‘Jiro dreams of sushi‘, I’ve seen them all.

But still ‘Fed Up’ made me think. It made me think of the way we eat and the way we live. Even though I know it is important to be aware of what you eat, I still buy processed foods one in while without looking at the labels. Of course, my eating habits have improved over the years and I don’t eat as bad as I used to do (using store-bought mixes) but I still buy

Aaaaaand… another one! I already promised you a second hot dog recipe. For this second edition of Food Truck Tuesday I was planning to make the Chili dog I had at our first visit of an LA food truck.

And right before I was planning to make them we ran into the Dogtown Dogs truck again, this time at the LACMA at a Sunday when we went to the La Brea Tar Pits. We were into a small and quick lunch at 3pm. Yes, on Sundays we always take it slow and easy 🙂
